This was Sony’s #SilentDay

More than 700 people gathered in the Planetarium covered by giant headphones, to dance silently to the rhythm of DJ Javier Zuker and DJ Cata Spinetta, a unique and free show organized by Sony Argentina, as part of the launch of its new line of headphones.

Silent Day was an initiative by Sony Argentina to propose a new way of having fun without noise, enjoying the best music in a silent way.

A new trend has emerged, driven mainly by young, modern users who like large and medium-sized, colored, headband headphones. From Sony, we wanted to close this record year for the segment with an action that brings us closer to the brand’s users to continue offering devices that maintain a direct relationship with the way they live and enjoy technology, in other words, with multifunctionality – connectivity – simplicity”, comments Luciano Pizzi, Marketing Manager of Sony Argentina.

According to Hernán Lombardi, Buenos Aires Minister of Culture: “From the Ministry of Culture we support this interesting Silent Day initiative that promotes sharing with friends or family the enjoyment of music in public space but in silence, and since it´s music from another planet, without a doubt the best place to do it is in the Planetarium”.
